The letters O.T.O. stand for Ordo Templi Orientis, the Order of Oriental Templars, or Order of the Temple of the East. O.T.O. is dedicated to the high purpose of securing the Liberty of the Individual and his or her advancement in Light, Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, and Power through Beauty, Courage, and Wit, on the Foundation of Universal Brotherhood.
Star of Babalon Encampment was chartered by Grand Lodge in January of 2014 but was started as a meetup group in late 2012. The body is made up of people from all walks of life.
We will continue to hold events that include topics ranging from Thoth Tarot, Chaos Magick, Astrology, Ceremonial Ritual and the Qabalah as well as the celebration of seasonal rituals. We are working towards building our own Gnostic Mass equipment so that we may regularly celebrate in this Eucharistic Rite.
